Each category has been specifically tailored to represent the key drivers in today’s ever-changing marketplace. This year each category now has a definition to help you select the right place for it to be entered. If unsure please contact Ellie Ray.

Chilled, sweet products aimed at the allergen free market e.g soya dessert
 
Frozen, savoury products aimed at the allergen free market e.g. frozen gluten free Yorkshire puddings

Products often stored in a larder created with a healthier focus e.g. soup, coconut oil or nut butters
 
Fermentable, Oligo-, Di-, Mono-saccharides and Polyols (FODMAPs) are short chain carbohydrates that are poorly absorbed in the small intestine. A diet low in FODMAPs is an effective treatment for gut symptoms such as bloating, wind, abdominal pain and an altered bowel habit.
 
Meat substitute products targeting the vegetarian/vegan market or those who can’t eat meat, a single product and not a ready meal e.g. meat free sausages, meat free bacon, meat free mince
