Introducing our Chair of Judges: Simon Wright
Simon Wright is the Chair of Judges of the Quality Food Awards. Simon has more than three decades of experience in sustainable food. He advises manufacturers, brand-holders and retailers around the world, from start-ups to FTSE 100 companies, helping with everything from sourcing key ingredients and obtaining certification through to major product launches.
Simon also works with the public and non-profit sector: he advised the UK government on the development of organic legislation, is a member of the Soil Association’s Standards Committee and is a Board Member of the Fairtrade Foundation.
OF+ has links with specialists in areas such as supply chain, logistics and design, meaning Simon can put together the perfect team for your project, whatever the scale. He also organises and chairs seminars and industry awards, hosts events, and is a well-known commentator and writer on food topics.
We are delighted to have Simon Wright as part of the Quality Food Awards team again this year, with his invaluable knowledge and experience on the success of products and continual improvements to the judging process.
